Organization of SMS notifications of participants in court sessions
In accordance with Order No. 131 dated July 5, 2012, approved by the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation , citizens involved in legal proceedings can now receive notifications via SMS messages. The SMS message will contain information about the date, time and place of the court session.
Participants in legal proceedings will no longer need to wait for notifications in writing, and court staff will not have to waste a lot of time creating a mail item. In order to use the SMS notification service, the participants in the proceedings only need to fill out a receipt, which, along with their personal data and their consent to be notified in this way, indicates the participant's mobile phone number to which the SMS message will be sent.
Any participant in the process, having written a receipt of consent to receive SMS notifications and handing it over to the reception room of the court, can be summoned to court sessions by cell phone. The advantages of this notification system for participants in the process are obvious: significant savings in money (a registered letter with a notification costs about 30 rubles, and an SMS notification when sending it through a special SMS notification service - 30 kopecks) and time (a letter takes several days, and an SMS notification can be received in 5 minutes).
