Russian State Symphonic Band

Brass bands have long been advocates of music in Russia. Composers such as Rimsky-Korsakov and Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov put a lot of effort to the level of Russian brass bands was the highest in the world. Diev (1975-1977), Nikolai Sergeyev (1977-1989), honored artists of Russia Galkin (1990-1997), V. Bogorad (1997- 2000), Honored Artist of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Russia A. Umanets (2000-2009). At various times, conductor of the orchestra were honored artists and artists of Russia Vladimir Kataev, Mishurin A., K. Krimets. Conductors A. Lebedinsky, D. Vinogradov, A. Velichko. Currently, conductor of the orchestra are: Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Lutsenko and S. Vovchuk.

In different years with the orchestra performed and continue to perform well-known artists such as: People's Artist of Russia Vladimir MOTORIN, People's Artists of the RSFSR Oleinichenko, Mr. Borisov. C. Lisowski . Honored Artist of the RSFSR Ya Krath, monetary A., V. Anisimov, V. Fomin. E. Labkovsky.

The orchestra performed and continue to perform Honored Artists of Russia, the musicians: J. Levda, Mr. Tsvetkov, V. Antipov, Yuri Oleynikov.

Since April 2009, the artistic director and director of the orchestra is a Vladimir Chugreev (Ph.D., professor). He graduated from the Military Bandmaster department (1983) and graduate (1990) of the Moscow Conservatory. He headed various creative teams as we have in the country and abroad. More than 10 years was Deputy Chief of the conducting faculty of the Moscow Conservatory on educational and scientific work. Author of numerous scientific studies on the nature of the national identity of the original works for wind orchestra, conductor's education. He created more than 300 instrumentation and arrangements for wind, symphonic and variety orchestras, more than 50 of his own works of different genres. Merit awarded ten medals, has gratitude from the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation and Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, numerous diplomas from the state and public organizations.

State Brass Band Russia maintains an extensive musical and educational activities, acts in concert halls and outdoor areas, and participates in public events and festivals, introducing millions of listeners with the works of Russian and foreign classics and original compositions for brass band, as well as pop and jazz music.

State Brass Band Russian audience applauded many cities of our country and neighboring countries. The team toured with great success in Poland, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, India. At many international festivals and competitions of brass music orchestra he was awarded the highest awards.

Especially for this group composed works of many Russian composers: G. Kalinkovich, M. Gottlieb, E. Makarov, B. Tobis, B. Diev, V. Petrov, Salnikov, B. Trotsyuk, Mr. Chernov, and . Savinov ... The orchestra was the first performer of music Petrova for the film "About the poor hussar say a word," and participated in the filming of this picture.
